I think it is because everyone's intrigued to know what a staff from a beauty retailer would actually use on a daily basis. I have to admit that since I joined lookfantastic Hong Kong, I have been spoiled with so many beautiful products. However, not many products are suitable for my skin type as I have sensitive skin, but if you also have sensitive skin and are interested to find out my evening skincare routine, please keep reading.
Makeup remover: Garnier Skin Micellar Cleansing Water
I normally prefer something that's more nourishing, but when the weather starts to get warmer, I'd like to use something that's lightweight. Garnier Skin Miceller Cleaning Water is definitely my current favourite. Not only is the price affordable, it also draws out dirt and impurities without over-drying skin. I believe many of you have heard of this product before. It is really amazing, definitely suit someone lazy - like myself, as you don't need to wash your face after using this Micellar water.
Cleanser: Erno Laszlo Pore Refining Detox Double Cleanse
Although Garnier Skin Micellar Cleansing Water can effectively remove all makeup and impurities, it is always good to double cleanse your skin. Erno Laszlo Pore Refining Detox Double Cleanse is a gentle cleanser that reaches into pores to effectively draw out dirt and pollutants. The reason why I like it so much is that the skin doesn't feel any uncomfortable tightness after cleansing at all. Instead, your skin feel very moisturised. Further, the cleanser contains a kale protein blend of mega-nutrients that works to restore a youthful appearance, leaving your skin cleaned, detoxified and radiant.
Serums: The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Hydration Support Formula
Hydration is always important to our skin, it is the key to youthful and healthy skin. The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Support Formula is an amazing product that really leaves your skin feeling moisturised all day long. The texture of the product is a little bit sticky which I am not really a fan of. In order to not leave the skin feeling sticky, I like to use this product before applying face cream. I have been using this product for a couple of months now and I can definitely see the result - smooth and hydrated skin. I also like to mix this with my foundation in the morning to get a longer lasting and perfect complexion.
Eye Cream: Antipodes Kiwi Seed Oil Eye Cream
Antipodes Kiwi Seed Oil Eye Cream has always been one of the top selling products at lookfantastic Hong Kong. It is a luscious but light eye cream that is rich in Vitamin C and Kiwifruits. Not only is the eye cream very gentle to be applied to the delicate eye area, it is also scientifically proven to stimulate synthesis of collagen production in human skin cells up to 82%. I have been using this product for over a year now, I can really tell that it helps reduce the appearance of fine lines around the eyes.
Night Cream: Avant Skincare Deluxe Hyaluronic Acid Vivifying Face and Eye Night Cream
Honestly, this is one of the best night creams I have ever used. It is very lightweight and it absorbs quickly into skin. There are 3 main ingredients in this lovely cream - Hyaluronic Acid, Maris Aqua aka. Sea Water and Vitamin B3. These ingredients work to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles; restore moisture and balances oil production for a eve skin tone; and reduces the appearance of enlarged pores and dark patches. I use it every night before bed and now I wake up to refreshed, smooth and flawless skin every morning. I have absolutely fallen in love with this beautiful night cream.
