TIGI Bed Head Masterpiece Massive Shine Hairspray (340ml)

I've been using this instead of my tresemme strong hold hairspray as it had good reviews and it was on off 3 for 2. Been using it for about 2 months. Unfortunately I can't say it's a great hairspray. Yes if you like hard hair, which looks slightly firm and greasy, then you might like this, but it doesn't brush out, it leaves your hair extremely dry and covered in a horrible residue which you can literally pull out of the strands of hair with your fingers...and actually pulls out some of my baby hair at the front. Which is why I'm going to get rid of the 340ml bottle I have. I wear hairspray every day for work to hold my hair against my head when it's tied up, to keep my bouffant in place, and for a natural style when I curl the ends of my hair, but it doesn't let my hair hold without looking clumped together. When it's long and wavy it tats together really easily ruining whatever style you've just made, and my Ghd curve wand always leave my hair soft and beautiful, so this totally ruined all the time put into doing my hair. I'd give it 1 star but it does look slightly shiny, and it does hold. But it's not very nice. I'm 26 so I've used a lot of hairspray and I am yet to find a bed head hairspray I like.

I use a lot of hairspray and I'm a tough crowd - there are only a very few hairsprays that I have liked over the years and have tried everything (my fallback is always frizzease normally). I'm really pleased I gave this a shot - it's good stuff. I have fine frizzy hair and I straighten it then find it goes mental during the day. This held my hair well and smells really really good. There is a nice level of shine and I have had no issues with brushing it out or flaking. I do feel that the spray nozzle releases the spray a little heavily and if you dont spray lightly from afar, you might end up with hair weighed down or soaked by the spray. It's a firm hold too so really only a little is needed - I'm interested to see how long the can lasts. A wee side point - the can is really cute - looks nice in my bathroom! Give this a shot if you are swithering - it is genuinely good hairspray and smells awesome.

With this hairspray your hair is going nowhere! I use it for updos or for slicking my hair back when I wear a ponytail because I have tons of those pesky baby hairs around my hairline that refuse to behave unless I use this spray. It also adds shine but it doesn't flake. It's a little too firm to use when I wear my hair down because I like some natural movement but it's a winner when I wear my hair up and I always have some on hand. My hair is very hard to hold and this spray works like a charm. I definitely recommend it.

Masterpiece is the only hairspray that keeps curls and waves in my fine hair. Its super strong hold is perfect for up dos and it also smells gorgeous. This is about my 10th can!

I first discovered this Tigi Bed Head Masterpiece when having my hair styled at my local salon and have used it ever since. It isn't heavy but it holds my style without being rigid. I wouldn't be without it now.
