I'm a convert
Being a busy person, and a keen gardener whose hands are always in and out of water, traditional nail polish lasts about 60 seconds before chipping so I thought I'd give Striplac a try. I'd tried the usual salon gel manicures before but the removal process damaged my nails. The kit comes with everything you need to get started. The polish is quick to apply, and has a high shine. The colours aren't exactly as shown on the bottle labels, and are quite thin and transparent, so 3 coats are needed. Strangely, with some of the colours the polish shrinks away from the edges of the nail when applying but a quick 10 second blast of each nail as it was painted under the UV/LED lamp helped to prevent this. The first time I tried Striplac, the polish lasted about 3-4 days before pinging off, however I rectified this the next time by applying some 'Deborah Lippmann 2 second nail primer' (I obviously have oily nails). Later, I bought some of the Activator so that I could remove the polish after a day or two if I wanted to, which worked well. After peeling off the polish some of the colour stained the nails, but with a gentle buff up and some nail oil they came up clean and shiny. I also experimented with applying normal nail polish under the twin coat (I have a lot of bottles to use up), and it lasted well, but not as long as Striplac nail polish. I am now gradually adding to my Striplac nail polish colours. I'm now a convert to Striplac.

LOVE IT!!!
Striplac Starter Kit (inc LED lamp) is the best purchase I have made in years, I really can't tell you how much I love this product! I've been getting my nails done for years and thought I would give this kit a try in a bid to save some money, I will never turn back. It comes with everything you need. It's got a cuticle pusher that gets rid of the skin on your nails, cleanse with the pads then paint your nails like you would with normal nail varnish. Put them under the LED light and they're dry in 60 seconds. No more smudging, I love it! Have it on my toes as well as my hands and it lasts for ages, at least 9 days on my hands. Now to get some more colours!
